Ms. Langston began working with Accela in 1998 as a contractor
hired to provide technical writing. She accepted a staff position
six months later within the Services department and quickly
moved into project management. In late 2000, she moved into
the Sales department and became the company’s first
remote Sales Representative. After Accela
initiated sales regions in 2002, Ms. Langston’s region
produced the highest amount of sales that year and in 2003. Her
region also doubled sales bookings in 2003.
As a result, Ms. Langston was promoted to Sales Director of Accela’s
eastern regions in 2004. She was subsequently promoted to Regional
Vice President of Sales for the eastern and central regions.
Ms. Langston graduated from Murray State University in Kentucky
where she received a bachelor’s degree in English and Organizational
Communications.
