The city of Kirkland was looking for a way to streamline its licensing processes, which were prone to data errors and inconsistencies in fee calculations.
In addition, the City wanted to offer citizens the option to apply and pay for licenses on-line.
The City turned to Accela to provide an automated solution for licensing that could centralize data and services. Eventually, the solution was expanded to automate building and planning services as well.
