Job Description
Successful candidates will have significant exposure or experience
in software implementation projects. This experience should include at
least two years of implementation consultant experience on enterprise-level
software implementations with a demonstrated track record of success.
Candidates should have direct experience with software implementation
and structured implementation methodologies and should be accomplished
at establishing customer and internal relationships.
Required Qualifications
• Strong analytical, problem solving,
client relationship and communication skills are required.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or
Information Systems is required.
• Experience working with government agencies
is a definite plus. Extensive travel is required.
Demonstrated experience with:
• Leading all Product Implementation efforts
at specified clients.
• Providing customized installation and implementation
of Accela software to clients.
• Evangelizing company technologies, products,
and offerings to clients.
• Mapping a boxed software application to
a client's needed capabilities.
• Developing and architecting specific IT
recommendations to our clients.
• Addressing competitive issues at the IT
technical level.
Experience with Web Development Environments/Languages:
• .Net/ASP, ColdFusion, Enterprise Java Beans/JSP/Servlets
(J2EE), HTML
Experience with Web Servers:
• Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS),
Apache App Services: Oracle Application Server (9ias) (including
installation, setup and configuration of Forms and Reports
components, java application installation, and enterprise
manager), BEA, Weblogic.
Experience with Relational Databases:
• Oracle 9i (including installation, backup
and recovery, and optimization), 8i, 7.x, MS SQL Server 7,
Windows/NT/2000/XP, UNIX (Sun Solaris, HP-UX, OpenBSD, FreeBSD,
Linux), Oracle 9iAS/OC4J
Experience with Languages:
• PL/SQL, SQL
Desired Qualifications
Significant Project Management experience in an enterprise software
company is preferred.
Additionally:
• Experience in government, GIS, and/or permitting
processes.
• Experience in and understanding of large
project development, development lifecycles, development methodologies,
and project scoping.
• Experience developing and deploying teams
to accomplish implementations from conception through delivery.
• Experience with any of the following architectures
and protocols:
- Online Analytical Processing (OLAP), including Relational
OLAP and Multidimensional OLAP; CORBA/EJB;
- COM/DCOM; TCP/IP based network design and implementation
in Unix, Windows 95/98/NT/2000; OLTP;
- Object Oriented Analysis and Design
• Experience with any of the following:
HTML, Java, C/C++/C#, Python, Perl Experience with any of
the following management and design tools: Visual Modeler,
ErWin, Data Junction, TOAD, MS Project, MS Access, MS Office/Excel
