Summit, New Jersey, Streamlines Board Governance with Addition of Accela Boards and Commissions
Accela, the leading provider of cloud-based civic engagement solutions for government, announced today that Accela customer, Summit, New Jersey, has added Accela Legislative Management’s Boards and Commissions solution on the Civic Platform. The City will implement Accela Boards and Commissions to provide agency staff with an efficient, streamlined and paperless way to accept online applications for vacant board seats, schedule applicant interviews, define requirements for board placement, and provide public access to online board member profiles and voting records.
