Bethany Beach, Delaware, Now Live with the Accela Civic Platform

Accela, the leading provider of civic engagement and productivity solutions for government, announced today that the Town of Bethany Beach, Delaware is now live with licensing, permitting, planning and code enforcement on the Civic Platform. The Town first implemented Accela Finance and Administration to more easily manage budgeting, payroll, human resources and tax solutions, and has now implemented additional cloud-based solutions on the Civic Platform to modernize the way they deliver access to services and information, streamline workflow, feedback and response time, and track requests and code enforcement efforts.

“Bethany Beach was looking to manage multiple civic processes from a central system online,” said Maury Blackman, president and CEO of Accela. “By implementing multiple solutions on the Accela Civic Platform, the Town can now provide residents and businesses with the best possible customer service, equip its staff with the most modern tools to handle permitting and code enforcement cases, and ultimately foster a more connected and engaged community.”
