Matthew J. Miszewski is the General Manager of Worldwide Government for Microsoft and will be on hand to present on the topic of Governments and Change.  Prior to joining Microsoft, Matt was appointed Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the state of Wisconsin in the United States by Governor Jim Doyle. Miszewski oversaw the state's approximately $400 million annual investment in information technology and was a strategic advisor in the governor’s cabinet.  Miszewski has long advocated an enterprise approach to ICT management in the public sector and has driven governments worldwide to consider shared services, consolidation and cloud computing to lower costs and help support the strategic goals of elected leaders.

ICC-Sponsored Building Codes Seminar: Establishing Building Permit Fees

Accela is once again partnering with the International Codes Council to present a free educational seminar. This seminar assists local building officials in documenting plan-check and inspection service costs and developing fee schedules that satisfy judicial and public scrutiny. The goal of this seminar is to provide the necessary training to equip participants with the working knowledge to be able to perform the necessary tasks to be proficient in identifying and establishing building permit fees.

Attendees will receive instruction that is eligible for 0.6 ICC CEU credit. Advanced registration is required for this event.

Registration is FREE and includes breakfast and lunch.
