ICC-Sponsored Building Codes Seminar:
2009 IBC Significant Changes

Thursday, August 6
8:00a - 4:00p

Accela is once again partnering with the International Codes Council to present a free educational seminar designed to familiarize entry-level building officials and design professionals with many of the significant changes in the 2006 International Building Codes (IBC). Learn specific code changes that have occurred and, more importantly, understand the reasons behind the changes. The focus will be on changes to those codes that are applied most frequently or have special significance.

Upon completion of the seminar, participants will be better able to identify the significant changes that occurred between the 2006 and 2009 IBC and the impact of the changes on the application of the IBC. Attendees will receive instruction that is eligible for 0.6 ICC CEU credit. Advanced registration is required for this event.

Registration is FREE and includes a continental breakfast and
box lunch.
