This presentation will highlight best practices and implementation strategies for enterprise land management and asset management solutions. Case studies from across the Country will be presented, including, LA County, City of Indianapolis/Marion County, and the Cleveland Water Department. Tips, tools, and innovative methodologies will be presented that will help improve business process modeling, data migration strategies, and integration with third party systems. The audience should walk away from the presentation with pragmatic methods to improve the performance and efficiency of their land and asset management software.

Matthew J. Miszewski is the General Manager of Worldwide Government for Microsoft and will be on hand to present on the topic of Governments and Change. Prior to joining Microsoft, Matt was appointed Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the state of Wisconsin in the United States by Governor Jim Doyle. Miszewski oversaw the state's approximately $400 million annual investment in information technology and was a strategic advisor in the governor’s cabinet. Miszewski has long advocated an enterprise approach to ICT management in the public sector and has driven governments worldwide to consider shared services, consolidation and cloud computing to lower costs and help support the strategic goals of elected leaders.


			ICC-Sponsored Building Codes Seminar: Establishing Building Permit Fees Thursday, August 5 \| 8:00a - 5:00p

Accela is once again partnering with the International Codes Council to present a free educational seminar. This seminar assists local building officials in documenting plan-check and inspection service costs and developing fee schedules that satisfy judicial and public scrutiny. The goal of this seminar is to provide the necessary training to equip participants with the working knowledge to be able to perform the necessary tasks to be proficient in identifying and establishing building permit fees.

Attendees will receive instruction that is eligible for 0.6 ICC CEU credit. Advanced registration is required for this event.

Registration is FREE and includes breakfast and lunch.
