Macomb County, Michigan, Improves Water Quality with New Soil Erosion Management System

The Challenge

Home to four of the eight fastest-growing communities in the metropolitan Detroit area, Macomb County, Michigan’s booming increase in housing developments and new businesses over the last decade was proving to be a challenge for the Public Works Office. To better manage this growth, the agency began looking for a new Soil Erosion Management System to manage the permitting and inspection activities of the department.
