Electronic Document Review is an end-to-end plan and document review feature within Accela Automation that can boost compliance with local regulations and codes. It offers tight integration with Adobe Acrobat X Pro, providing easy review and markup of documents in industry-standard PDF format, and integrates with International Code Council eCodes. It also supports current EDMS connectors to third-party document management solutions, greatly facilitating inter-team collaboration, while protecting the accuracy and integrity of edited documents.

Accela Automation 7.0.5
With release 7.0.5, delivered in July 2010, Accela Automation and its companion Accela Citizen Accesssoftware are Section 508 compliant. They have been enhanced to fully support the use of assistive technologies such as the JAWStext-to-speech reader and text-to-Braille hardware, and to leverage browser-based tools for screen color and contrast, enabling those with sight impairments to make effective use of these products.
