The New
Orleans Department
of Safety and Permits uses Accela Automation®, a Web-
based enterprise application
for automating permitting, inspections, workflow, project
management, plan review, code enforcement, and other critical
functions. Since deploying the system, the Department has
had the application hosted off-site by Accela at a tier one
data center.
Following Hurrican Katrina, Accela and the New Orleans Building
and Safety Department quickly mobilized to begin disaster
recovery efforts. The solution is part of a multiphase
project to
facilitate recovery activities including |
