As data is gathered and analyzed by City officials, the information is published on the city of New Orleans Web site. Citizens are able to access and view damage assessment maps of their property and take immediate steps to either return to their homes or begin the reconstruction process. Making the information available on-line alleviates the number of calls and inquiries coming into the City.
