| The Challenge
Overland Park encountered many challenges as rapid population growth
increased demands for government services. In addition, the City
was facing a major upgrade of its systems for Y2K. As part of this
upgrade, the Development Services Department wanted to automate
its permit and land management systems and create a centralized
database for all of its divisions.
