Included below is an overview of the major new features in version 6.5. For a complete list of the new features in this release, please contact the Customer Resource Center.

New Features
Attaching GIS Objects to CAP without the Accela GIS Viewer – Allows users to attach multiple Address, Parcel, Owner (APO) records to a Case, Application, or Permit (CAP) using the GIS viewer. This also populates GIS data when performing searches on APO data. Functionality includes:
• Automatically attaches linked GIS objects when performing a search in
  Accela Automation.
• Auto-populates APO data from external reference data after attaching a GIS object via Accela GIS™.
• Allows users the option of automatically associating linked GIS objects to a new CAP when searching external   reference data (Web services).

Inspection Workflow and Security Enhancement – Enables administrators to configure flow logic for the inspections. When users handle the inspections, they will be able to follow the defined logic and workflow set up by administrators.

Lot and Subdivision – Implemented in Accela Automation Vantage360®, and adds functionality similar to Accela Automation Classic. This feature extends the Subdivision field to 2000 characters.
