Resource Center.
New Features
Trust Account Payment – This feature extends
Accela Automation® trust accounting functionality to Accela Citizen
Access. Public users with proper professional license validation can make
payments on permits, licenses, and other transactions in Accela Citizen
Access using an established Trust Account. All business rules for the
creation and use of Trust Accounts can be governed through configuration
established in Accela Automation.
Conditions: Holds, Locks, Notices – A hold, lock,
notice, or other condition placed on an address in Accela Automation affects
permit application behavior in Accela Citizen Access in the same way it
affects permit application behavior in Accela Automation.
Enhance Search Capabilities – Accela Citizen Access
provides the ability to search for and return search-specific results
on many different screens. The search results are validated based on parameters
established by each agency. Users searching for a piece of land will get
results for address, parcel, and/or owner information.
Cancel Inspections – Provides the ability to cancel
a scheduled inspection regardless of whether or not the original inspection
was scheduled via Accela Citizen Access.
Administrator Access from Public Portal – System
administrators can now assign a user account with an administrator role
using the Admin portlet in Accela Vantage360®. A user account assigned
with an administrator role has permission to perform configurations and
customization for Accela Citizen Access.
Product Roadmap
The next release of Accela Citizen Access will be version 6.5 and is scheduled
for release in March 2008.
