New Features
GIS Extension to ArcGIS Desktop –
This enhancement eliminates the need for duplicate entry and reduces inconsistent
data between Accela GIS and the Accela Asset Management System™
(Accela classic AMS product) databases by automatically updating related
data between these two data sources.
Security Enhancement – Accela GIS Web server security
now supports communication using secure HTTPS communication with the ArcIMS
server. This feature protects internal agency data by requiring access
between Accela GIS and the ArcIMS server to use SSL communication with
strong encryption.
Product Roadmap
The next release of Accela GIS will be version 6.5 and is scheduled for
release in March 2008.
