What’s New in
8.2.1? Release Recap
Included below is an overview of the major new features and issues resolved
in version 8.2.1. For a complete list of the new features in this release,
please contact the Customer Resource
Center.
Features Enhancements
• Addition of a column to show the number of related documents
attached to a permit on lifi09 (Land – Permits)
• Addition of multiple rows in the service block and auto
query by problem code on rsfi76 (RFS – Default Service Inspections)
• Ability to manually add a permit to the Mass Inspection
entry bpfi26.
• Addition of a new switch SET_MONITOR to turn off the KIVA_MONITOR
so the package KIVA_MONITOR will compile without access
to the v$session table and will not populate the monitoring table if the
switch is set to null (default is null).
• Change in functionality of Regulatory Time Flags to Stop
flag when the End activity is signed off; change in notification
to show those with the flag assigned.
Resolved Issues
• Auto Email Notification – Correct Oracle error if
user does not enter default text before pressing commit; correct comment
on inspection item to stay checked after committing the form.
• Activity Notes – Correct length of permit entry date
to not show *****; double-click to see the related docs screen.
• Permit - Conditions of Approval and press Detail button
– Remove error message about invalid inspection when an expired
inspection is already tied to an existing condition.
• Correct permit entry date if only a permit number is entered.
• Permit - Inspection History – If no inspections were
found on bpfi33, the form would query for all inspections.
• Correct view DIST_HIST_ADDR_VIEW so it compiles correctly.
