Included below is an overview of the major new features and issues resolved
in version 8.2.0. For a complete list of the new features in this release,

Feature Enhancements:
• Ability to expire alias addresses
• Ability to expire a permit based on interdependent permits
• Replace small flag pop up warning with a LOV type list of flags
• Add LOV for previous permit contacts
• Change the display order of inspections to be consistent on the
main inspection screens
• Add Permit owner to the Single permit entry form
• Add "Change options button" to pr
Resolved Issues
• Use PER_START system switch in genealogy and application creation
• Multiple permit payments – Use credits before the new payment
so full permit can be shown as paid
• Correct Page-Down and Page-Up functionality in the permit summary
form
• Disallow changes to the fees and geographic info on a request
if the user does not have access to create the request
• Use the PRM_TMP switch when doing a Permit renumber
• When deleting a structure or establishment, delete all associated
entries
• Add back in the default plan routing which was erroneously removed
earlier
• Correct conditions of approval summary which was auto populating
the compl_by if some change was made
• Miscellaneous payments corrections
Product Roadmap
The next release of Kiva DMS will be version 8.2.1. The major new features
targeted for our next release are:
• Enhance the ability to put time flags on activities.
• Add the ability to give users rights to edit the RFS memo field.
• Allow permits to be manually entered when performing mass inspections.
