‘PERMITS’ Plus® Release 5.5.04

Included below is an overview of the major new features and issues resolved
in version 5.5.04. For complete details about this release, please contact

Feature Enhancement:
• New method added to the Active X component PermPlusCOM..
Resolved Issue:
• ‘PERMITS’ Plus - Active Directory
– Active Directory automatic login would display an invalid password
error when the database connections were changed using the
‘PERMITS’ Plus INI connections menus. This has been resolved
in this release.
• 08-08092 ‘PERMITS’ Plus - Administrator
– Workflow configuration dialog was not refreshing properly when
the user would apply changes to the workflow time accounting
options. The user new setting was written to the database,
but the dialog would switch the setting back to whatever the value was
when the dialog was first opened. The dialog has been fixed
to display the proper value when the dialog is refreshed.
• 08-08113 ‘PERMITS’ Plus – CAED
standard data item “Valid_Local” was improperly defined to
reference an invalid CON_BASE column name. This has been corrected
to reference the CON_BASE.Valid_Local_Flag field.
• 08-08249 ‘PERMITS’ Plus - Search Parcels by
Address – When the user selected the “Active”
or “Inactive” search filter option an error was
raised when the application attempted to filter the query results by status.
This has been resolved in this release.
Database Change:
Correction to PermStd.mdb: CAED System standard data-item Valid_Local
has been corrected.
OCX/System DLL Requirements:
• Upgrading from version 5.1.26 or higher does not require a full
install.
• A full installation is required to upgrade from versions 5.1.25
or lower.
Special instruction: Before installing ‘PERMITS’
Plus 5.5.04, reboot the user’s workstation (see the documents ‘PERMITS’
Plus New Features5_5_04.pdf and Upgrade5504.doc for more
details).
