Dennis Michalis is Accela’s Chief Revenue Officer. Dennis is a globally-respected technology industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience growing businesses, defining and aligning technology offerings, and leading global, world-class teams.

Previous to Accela, Dennis was with Oracle as Group Vice President of the Customer Experience solutions portfolio where he managed teams focused on the go-to-market and overall sales orchestration for North America with a focus both on migrating on-premise customers to cloud as well as net new and expansion cloud sales. Prior to Oracle, Dennis served as Global General Manager of Microsoft’s Dynamics Business Solutions where he was responsible for the worldwide product, marketing and go-to-market strategy for Microsoft Dynamics CRM. In this role, he was tasked with setting the long-term business strategy, aligning customers’ needs with product plans, creating and executing marketing strategy, product positioning, pricing and packaging, developing and enabling channels, and driving revenue for the growth and momentum of one of the fastest-growing products within Microsoft Corp.

Dennis’ career focus has been on enterprise applications and technology. With senior executive roles in Oracle, Microsoft, Infor and Fujitsu Ltd., as well as experience with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Dennis has long been in leadership roles at the intersection of product, go-to-market, and field sales strategies and execution for compelling, competitive solutions that create lasting, value-based relationships with customers.

Dennis was awarded a fellowship and earned his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in organizational communications and science with an emphasis on quantitative methods from California State University at Fullerton. He was a mentor at the University of California at Irvine’s Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences and the Extreme Computing Student Product Competition, and he was a member of the Executive Council, Mihaylo College of Business and Economics, California State University at Fullerton.
