Tom has been an investor and advisor to private and public companies for over 20 years. Most recently, he co-led the Business Services and Technology group at Berkshire Partners, where he worked for 13 years. Prior to that, he was an investor at General Atlantic and in the Urban Investment Group of Goldman Sachs. He has experience in the software, financial technology, industrial manufacturing, aerospace, and health care industries and across a wide variety of situations, ranging from growth to transformations. Tom is passionate about platforms and companies that help to achieve a more equitable, just society and a sustainable future. He received an A.B. from Harvard College and a M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
