Kimberly Nelson joined Microsoft Corporation in 2006 and now serves as Executive Director of the U.S. Public Sector’s State and Local Government Solutions team. In this capacity, she leads a team of subject matter experts covering Justice and Public Safety, Health and Human Services and Modern Government. Her role also includes serving as the U.S. CityNext Lead and working in collaboration with Microsoft’s vast partner ecosystem to develop repeatable solutions that will ensure the predictable delivery of improved online services while helping to reduce the cost, risk and deployment time associated with sophisticated systems.



Troy Coggiola brings more than 18 years of software industry experience to his role as Accela’s Chief Product Officer. Prior to joining Accela, Troy served as Senior Vice President of Product Management at Ellie Mae, the industry leader in mortgage origination technology, where he led product strategy and guided teams responsible for researching and defining the vision and requirements for the company’s SaaS-based mortgage origination automation products. Previously, he held various software consulting positions at supply chain software companies and demonstrated his expertise in defining and implementing software solutions to automate and streamline complex business processes.

Jason Shueh is Accela's content strategist and is focused on developing insightful resources that inform and support Accela's government customers. He has a passion for smart city growth and civic tech, two spaces he covered at length in his previous roles as a journalist at Government Technology magazine and as the tech editor at StateScoop, publications centered around public sector IT.


 

At Accela, Zack reviews and manages the company’s legal contracts. He is an attorney admitted in New York, who has worked in New York Supreme Court Treatment Courts researching correlations between the law and successful drug treatment therapies. He also worked at the Chilean Ministry of Justice drafting criminal justice legislation for the Chilean legislature.

Heidi Lorenzen is VP of Marketing at Accela. She is a high-impact global marketing executive with a 25+-year international career and passionate about taking fresh approaches to addressing the dramatic shifts in marketing that are placing unprecedented demands—and opportunities—on marketers. Heidi is known for her ability to see the deeper potential in companies, products and people, then pointing her passion, creativity and strategic thinking to create the absolute highest value from them. She's adept at leading change, repositioning companies, building legendary teams, reaching lofty goals, coaching and mentoring toward high performance, and “pushing the envelope” on creativity and innovation.

Srini Kakkera is Accela’s Chief Technology Officer, focused on overseeing critical engineering functions, technical platform strategy and management of development teams, hosting operations with embedded security and compliance. Srini is a seasoned industry veteran with an entreprenual background who has built and delivered world-class cloud products.

Ed Daihl is the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Accela. He has nearly four decades of government, SaaS and systems integration experience, and has driven top-line growth and increased margins for public and private equity-backed companies. Most recently, Ed served as Senior Vice President for Epicor, where he managed automotive and retail software solutions spanning 5,000+ clients in 11 international markets. From 2006 to 2014 Ed served as CEO for Surgical Information Systems (SIS), a leading provider of software solutions for the healthcare industry. At SIS, Ed led the release of numerous new product lines that enabled substantial revenue growth for the company, as well as significant reduction in implementation time and complexity for SIS’ customers. Previously, he also served in various executive positions including President at both CAPS Logistics and BaaN Supply Chain.
