Ed Daihl is the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Accela. He has nearly four decades of government, SaaS and systems integration experience, and has driven top-line growth and increased margins for public and private equity-backed companies. Most recently, Ed served as Senior Vice President for Epicor, where he managed automotive and retail software solutions spanning 5,000+ clients in 11 international markets. From 2006 to 2014 Ed served as CEO for Surgical Information Systems (SIS), a leading provider of software solutions for the healthcare industry. At SIS, Ed led the release of numerous new product lines that enabled substantial revenue growth for the company, as well as significant reduction in implementation time and complexity for SIS’ customers. Previously, he also served in various executive positions including President at both CAPS Logistics and BaaN Supply Chain.

Accela creates software for state, county and municipal governments to streamline interactions with citizens by meeting them where they are, which is increasingly online. When I joined the company last year, my first priority was to listen to our customers and understand their needs. In my conversations, it was clear that local and state governments are experiencing a tough time navigating new innovations and industries driven by regulatory and technological change. Offering Complimentary Use of Our Hurricane Damage Assessment Solution

In response to the recent hurricanes in Eastern Texas and Florida, Accela is offering every impacted jurisdiction free access to our Rapid Damage Assessment (RDA) cloud solution to streamline the inspection efforts necessary to get displaced residents back into their homes quickly and safely.
