Lawrence Grodeska is a Senior Product Manager at Accela, where he builds apps that are transforming how citizens interact with their communities and local governments. Prior to Accela, Lawrence built the content marketing program at the world’s platform for change,, and released the City and County of San Francisco‘s first mobile app which helped to spur the open data movement in the Bay Area.

Lawrence is the co-founder of the democracy and technology community CivicMakers. He regularly speaks about civic engagement at events such as SXSW Interactive, Nonprofit Technology Conference, and Code for America Summit. You can find him at @grodeska.

Kathryn Vargas is a Product Marketer at Accela, where she is developing go-to-market strategies, marketing campaigns and compelling content, researching markets and working with acquired companies. Passionate about innovation and creating products to benefit consumers, Kathryn has contributed to the development, launch and marketing of products spanning both the consumer and high-tech industries. Haseeb’s specialty is helping local governments introduce innovative mobile strategies to engage citizens, increase productivity and lower costs. He has worked in the software industry for the past 25 years and specializes in user experience and management strategy. Haseeb has designed over 50 mobile apps for local governments and the private sector.

Claire Jubb is the Customer Service Manager for the Community Development Department in Charlotte County, Florida. Claire holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors from the University of Wales College Cardiff and has been a Certified Floodplain Manager for over 8 years. Claire’s duties include all budgetary, administrative, technological and financial aspects of a department of over 90 employees that handle all land management-related issues for the County. Claire was involved in the selection and implementation of Accela in 2009 and handles all implementations, upgrades and changes from the business unit perspective.

Andrew K Kirk is VP, Sales & Marketing at CitySourced, a real-time mobile civic engagement platform. In addition to managing the sales and marketing teams, he works directly with both Government and Enterprise customers and partners. Angela Langston began working with government agencies in 1998 as a Software Trainer with Open Data Systems. In 2000, Open Data Systems merged with Sierra Computer Systems to form Accela, Inc. From 2000 to 2010, Mrs. Langston held various positions within the Sales organization, including Regional Account Manager, Director of Sales – Eastern US and VP of Sales – Eastern US.

In 2011, Mrs. Langston established the Account Management team. In 2013, she established the Customer Success team. Mrs. Langston has been managing these teams for North America and has recently folded the Customer Support team into her organization. She is now the VP of Customer Care for Accela.

Mrs. Langston graduated from Murray State University where she received a bachelor’s degree in English and Organizational Communications.
