Right of Way Management News Brief
District of North Vancouver, BC, Selects Accela Right of Way Management on the Civic Platform
Accela, the leading provider of cloud-based civic engagement solutions for government, announced today that the District of North Vancouver, BC, has chosen Accela Right of Way Management solution on the Accela Civic Platform. The District of North Vancouver will use the solution’s Utility Coordination, Citizen’s View, Permit Viewer, and Events and Incidents modules to provide the District, utilities and citizens with visibility and real-time insight into street projects and activities that occur in the public right of way.
“The District of North Vancouver wanted to implement a better, more efficient way to streamline their right of way activities, but they were concerned about finding a solution that would safely address their cloud security concerns,” said Brad Steer, SVP and General Manager of Right of Way Management, Accela. “The District did an extensive amount of research, referenced other municipalities, and then allowed us to demonstrate the dynamic and robust capabilities of the Accela solution. We are thrilled with their decision and excited to welcome them to the Accela Right of Way Management family.”
