Costa Mesa Sanitary District Goes Live with Accela Civic Platform for Citizen Relationship Management (CRM)
Accela, the leading provider of civic engagement solutions for government, announced today that Costa Mesa Sanitary District in Costa Mesa, California, recently went live with Accela Citizen Relationship Management (CRM) on the Civic Platform. Costa Mesa Sanitary District is a services district for the City of Costa Mesa in Orange County, which has a population of approximately 110,000. The District implemented cloud-based Accela Citizen Relationship Management to improve feedback and response time, simplify citizen communication with elected officials, and manage request tracking, accessible online and via a configurable mobile application.
“For growing, suburban cities such as Costa Mesa, hand-written notes and bulging file folders are simply no longer an efficient way for government agencies to address the needs of its citizens,” said Kendall Smith, Accela Citizen Relationship Management Product Engineer Lead. “With Accela Citizen Relationship Management, all case and request-related information is available anywhere at anytime. Through a configurable mobile app and web-based software, both agencies and citizens can engage in dynamic two-way communication and real-time updates to requests, and we are thrilled to bring this technology to the Costa Mesa Sanitary District.”
