Carlsbad, California, to Simplify Access to City Services with Mobile App

Accela, the leading provider of cloud-based productivity and civic engagement software solutions, announced today that Carlsbad, California, has selected Accela Citizen Relationship Management (CRM) on the Accela Civic Platform to improve citizen participation and foster better two-way communication between the City and its residents. With Accela’s branded mobile app and website, Carlsbad residents can submit requests, receive updates, and access city information such as events, animal adoptions, transit data and online bill payment tools. After implementation, Carlsbad will also be able to reduce calls and office visits by providing an online resource for citizens with answers to commonly asked questions.
