Thank you again to everyone – Accela customers, staff, and partners – who participated in the 2012 Accela User Conference. According to your feedback, it was a huge success!

We are pleased to announce we’re returning to gorgeous, sunny San Diego, but to a new hotel, the beautiful Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina on Harbor Island.

Your comments confirmed that you left with valuable information from the keynote speeches, presentations, hands-on classes, partner exhibits, expert desk, networking, and developers’ workshop. Make sure that you have staff available to attend the user conference. It’s one of the major training opportunities, and I gained a lot of knowledge from going. I didn’t get to attend last year and I really felt like that was an opportunity I missed out on.

Registration

Online registration for the Accela User Conference will be opening soon.

The Accela 2013 User Conference provides up to 20 hours of Accela software training, over 60 user and product presentations that share best practices, and opportunities for one-on-one meetings to get your specific technical questions answered face-to-face with Accela experts. Each year we strive to outdo the previous year's event and this year will be no exception! Conference registation and hands-on training costs are below; it is time to start planning your trip.

Conference Registration
$699 Early Bird Registration (until May 31)
$899 Standard Registration (June 1 - August 2)

Hands-on Training

Classes begin Wednesday afternoon and continue all day Thursday and Friday. Attendees will be able to choose available classes during registration. Attendees may add classes and make changes as long as seats are available prior to August 2. After this date all class rosters will be finalized.

Hands-on Training Registration - $100*
All 2 and 4 hour classes are $100 per class
*Pre-registration required, no walk-ins allowed and seats are limited.

Client Appreciation Dinner

All registered attendees are invited to the Client Appreciation Dinner on Monday, August 12. Attendees have the option to bring guests to the Client Appreciation Dinner. Guest passes for the dinner may be purchased by the attendee for $50 per guest during registration or on-site. All guests must be 21 and over.

Payment Options

Pay by check, credit card, or purchase order. All conference and training fees are due by August 2, 2013.

Cancellation and Substitution Policy

Requests for conference registration cancellation must be e-mailed by July 19, 2013 and will incur a $125 processing fee. No refunds will be granted for requests after that date. Substitutions can be made for registered attendees until August 2. Your registration may be transfered to another colleague within your company by logging into the registration system and editing the attendee name, title and contact information. Please note that the deadline for all transfers and edits is August 2, 2013.

Hotel and Travel

All 2013 Conference activities, track sessions, and Hands-on Training classes will take place at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina in San Diego, CA.

Accela has arranged for a special room rate of $159 per night for single/double occupancy (not including the standard San Diego tax of 12.6%). This rate will also be offered for the three days prior to and following the event, and will expire on Thursday, July 18, 2013, at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time.

Not familiar with Harbor Island? Be sure to view the resort map prior to your trip to ensure you know the lay of the land.

Reservations

Registration for the Conference and Hands-on Training does not include accommodations. Accela has secured a discounted group rate at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina, the discount rate will be available until July 18, 2013 . After that date, rates will revert to the regular rate. Please book early.

Parking

A fee of $10.00 per day for self parking and $16.00 per day for valet parking will be charged.

Getting There

The Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina is conveniently located and easily accessible from the San Diego Airport (SAN). The Hotel offers complimentary airport shuttle service.

Be a Presenter and Receive FREE Conference Registration! The 2013 User Conference will be focused on three tracks:

  • How To: daily mechanics of how to use Accela products
  • Best Practices: strategic approach of getting the most out of your system
  • What's New: innovation and roadmap of Accela products. Presented by the Accela team

Benefits of being a presenter:
Presenters receive complimentary Conference registration valued at $899. The presenters are responsible for the fees associated with Hands-on Training classes, lodging, non-group meals and transportation. One presenter per agency only.
