Bruce Duner
is Accela’s Chief Financial Officer and has more than 30 years of experience as a Healthcare and Software Operating Executive, with a track record of leadership in creating and transforming business strategy into financial and operational success.

Prior to Accela, he was with Bomgar Corporation, a leading provider in remote support and privileged access security software solutions, where he served as Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer. In this capacity, he was a key member of the management team, delivering a 3x return and 104% IRR to investors. Prior to Bomgar, Bruce was Chief Financial Officer of Surgical Information Systems (SIS), a leading provider of surgical and anesthesia software for hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers. Bruce helped lead SIS to a 7-year revenue CAGR of 16% and delivered a 3x return and 75% IRR to investors. Previous to SIS, Bruce served as Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at Mariner Health Care, and Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Wonderware.

Bruce is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from San Diego State University.

Jonathon Knight
serves as Accela’s Chief Customer Officer, responsible for establishing metrics for customer relationships, managing how products and services are delivered, and helping to define and streamline the Company’s overall operational approach.

He has held a number of executive positions in venture funded and public companies. Previous to Accela, he was the VP of Global Services and Customer Care at Ooyala, a privately-held technology company in the Bay Area, where he oversaw all aspects of post-sales. Prior to that role, he held senior-level customer and services management roles at SaaS and enterprise software firms including, Infinian Technologies, Agile Software and JRG Software, Inc.

Chief Revenue Officer

Jay Colfer is Chief Revenue Officer at Accela where he is responsible for establishing the Company’s strategic sales and marketing initiatives, pricing and revenue management.

Jay brings more than 25 years of sales and management experience in tech sales to government, not-for-profit and for-profit organizations across the U.S. and international markets. While leading sales, marketing and channel partner organizations, Jay has focused on improving client relationships and building a culture that allows the organization to achieve its growth objectives. Most recently, he served as Chief Growth Officer and EVP of Client Solutions at SSI, a leading provider of revenue cycle management solutions and services. Previously, Jay was Executive Vice President of Sales for Surgical Information Systems, and has held executive sales roles at Eclipsys (now Allscripts), McKesson, as well as other information technology companies.

Jay earned a degree in Health Services Administration from St. Mary’s College in Moraga, California.

Ed Daihl brings four decades of government, SaaS and systems integration experience to Accela, and has driven top-line growth and increased margins for public and private equity-backed companies. Most recently, Ed served as Senior Vice President for Epicor, where he managed automotive and retail software solutions spanning 5,000+ clients in 11 international markets.

From 2006 to 2014 Ed served as CEO for Surgical Information Systems (SIS), a leading provider of software solutions for the healthcare industry. At SIS, Ed led the release of numerous new product lines that enabled substantial revenue growth for the company, as well as significant reduction in implementation time and complexity for SIS’ customers. Previously, he also served in various executive positions including President at both CAPS Logistics and BaaN Supply Chain.

Ed holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Data Processing from the University of Baltimore.

Troy Coggiola

Chief Product Officer

Troy Coggiola brings more than 18 years of software industry experience to his role as Accela’s Chief Product Officer. Prior to joining Accela, Troy served as Senior Vice President of Product Management at Ellie Mae, the industry leader in mortgage origination technology, where he led product strategy and guided teams responsible for researching and defining the vision and requirements for the company’s SaaS-based mortgage origination automation products.

Prior to Ellie Mae, he held various software consulting positions at supply chain software companies including Saqqara Systems, Inc. and demonstrated his expertise in defining and implementing software solutions to automate and streamline complex business processes.

Troy holds BS and MS degrees in Engineering and an MBA from the University of California, Davis.
