Galveston County Health District Selects Accela as the Digital Foundation of its Regulatory Programs

Cloud-based technology enables Galveston County Health District to more effectively manage public health and safety processes and improve critical resident services

By leveraging Accela’s cloud-based software, the district will streamline essential health and regulatory processes to preserve and improve the well-being of its communities.

Galveston inspectors may soon begin using iPads or Android tablets to conduct routine and follow-up inspections while business operators will soon renew and pay fees online, all in line with a larger COVID-19 safety strategy for the region.
