Tom Nieto

Tom Nieto is Accela’s Chief Operating Officer. In this role, he oversees the company’s International, Marketing, Business Systems, Partnerships and Strategy groups, and leads the effort to deliver world class services to customers across a joint Partner ecosystem. Prior to assuming the role of COO, Tom served as the company’s Vice President of Strategy and Operations, responsible for global corporate strategy and operations including partnerships, corporate development and international growth strategy.

Previous to joining Accela, Tom was the Head of Sales Strategy and Execution at Box where he also held leadership roles in the Go-to-Market and Customer Success areas. Prior to Box he was Project Leader with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), a Strategy Consulting firm, where he helped clients with growth strategies and scaling operations.

Tom holds an M.B.A. from Harvard University and B.A. in International Relations from Stanford University.
