District of North Vancouver, British Columbia, Selects Accela Right of Way Management

Accela Civic Platform Solution Wins for Cloud-based Project Sharing, Viewing and Coordination Between Agency, Utilities and Citizens


Accela, the leading provider of cloud-based civic engagement solutions, announced today that the District of North Vancouver, British Columbia, has selected Accela Right of Way Management to modernize its coordination process and enhance the timely and open sharing of information about capital projects in the District with residents and local businesses.

The District of North Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada, is part of the North Shore of the Greater Vancouver area and home to approximately 85,000 residents. The District will implement Accela Right of Way Management, a map-based solution that houses centralized project information, automates conflict notifications and improves transparency into public projects and events.

North Vancouver will take advantage of multiple software modules in the Accela Right of Way Management solution, including Utility Coordination, Permit Viewer, Events, Incidents and Citizens View. Together these modules will provide the District, outside utilities and citizens with visibility into street activities, reduce the impact of infrastructure projects on residents and businesses, and save time and money.

The Right of Way Management solution will run on the Accela Civic Platform, which provides the foundation for creating the two-way flow of data that makes engagement possible and helps to build the bridge between agencies and citizens.
