Accela, the leading provider of civic engagement solutions, announced today during the 2015 Esri User Conference that the City of San Diego, California, has selected the Accela Civic Platform to upgrade its software system for coordinating projects and events. San Diego is replacing its legacy system and rolling out Accela Right of Way Management and its core software modules on the Civic Platform.
The Accela Civic Platform, Accela Right of Way Management and other solutions are on display this week at the San Diego Convention Center during the Esri User Conference, an annual gathering for the Geographic Information System (GIS) software market. A silver sponsor of this year’s event, Accela is located in booth #1501. The company is demonstrating the full Esri support and integration provided by all Accela products and mobile applications.

The City’s Department of Information Technology is committed to providing value through innovation to city departments and staff, and in turn to San Diego residents and businesses. Recognizing the need to upgrade its project coordination software as well as make information on major projects accessible to the public, the City decided to shift to Accela’s advanced and scalable cloud-based Right of Way Management solution.
