Meeting the Moment in the Accela Experience Center at Accelarate 2020

Accelarate 2020, Accela’s annual user conference, is going 100% virtual this year which provides some unique and additional ways we can engage with attendees. One of the most popular features of the conference year after year is the Accela Experience Center (AEC), and as Accela’s Director of User Experience, I’m excited to share why it will be better than ever virtually. 

Building on last year’s momentum in the Accela Experience Center, we will once again have an expanded area where our technical, product, user experience, and community and support experts will be standing by to meet you. Each booth in the Accela Experience Center offers a unique opportunity to engage with Accela staff to get the most out of your conference. Visit us to get your questions answered, meet with Accela technical experts, get product support, watch solution demos, learn about the Accela Success Community and Accela U, and help inform future product design by participating in User Experience Research Lab studies.

Here’s a sneak peek of what we have planned in the AEC this year:

Expert Desk – Accela’s Customer Success and Customer Support teams will be standing by at the Expert Desk to answer your product questions and discuss Accela’s preferred support package.

Solution Station – Pop into the Solution Station to get one-on-one demonstrations of the Accela Solutions you are most interested in, watch recorded demos, and explore what these solutions could look like for your agency. 

Accela Services – Visit the booth for information on Accela’s Professional Services team can support you throughout your Accela journey. This group is available to provide a range of services spanning partner services oversight, project planning and architecture, implementation services, and post-implementation expansion.

Accela U – Come by to check out the full list of upcoming training courses Accela U is offering such as, “Migrating to 20.1.x from 9.3.x” and “Migrating from V360 to the New User Interface”.

Customer Community and Advocacy – Have you signed into your Accela Success Community account? Our Success Community team can help you get access and explore our many valuable resources; you’ll also learn about our customer community programs where you can earn valuable Community Reference points, and our advocacy program to become an Accelarator and earn points to redeem towards our next Accelarate conference.

Environmental Health – Still using EnvisionConnect on a daily basis? Visit the Accela Environmental Health booth to access refresher courses for EnvisionConnect and learn about Accela’s Civic Application for Environmental Health.

Looking Ahead – In the Looking Ahead booth, you will meet the Accela Product Team, learn about new products released in the last year, and find out what’s coming up next for your Accela solutions.

User Experience Lab – You are our best resource! In the User Experience Lab, you will have the opportunity to participate in over 20 studies about the Accela user interface and sign up to be contacted for additional studies throughout the year—including providing feedback on early concepts and designs in flight.  

It’s more important than ever for us all to be and stay connected. 

The fast-changing circumstances of this past year have offered up a unique set of challenges and opportunities, and because of that we are so excited and grateful to be able to meet you in this moment from wherever you are.
